Dear Kari,
I started off the new year with plans for “a new me”, and now I have hit a roadblock. I have lost my motivation to work out, be less anxious, and respect myself more by having good boundaries with others. Help! How do I get back on track?

Dear Floundering in Issaquah,
I want to support you in keeping focused on what you have done so far in 2017, rather than on what you have not done. Keep going! We are all on our path to achieving a life that is a good match for us. Some changes come easier than others. All efforts, even if they are small efforts, count. Review your goals and reflect on whether they are truly things that you hope for yourself and truly want vs. what you think you should do or want. Sometimes we lose motivation because we are off track with what is in our own hearts. Keep at it, even if it takes until 2018 to master some of your goals. Good luck!
Kari
